These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the memplates.co website and the purchase and use of our digital products. By accessing this website and/or purchasing from Memplates.Co, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) where applicable.

Digital Products

Memplates.Co sells digital Canva templates delivered electronically. No physical items are shipped. After purchase, customers receive access to a downloadable PDF containing a link to an editable Canva template. Templates are self-editable by the purchaser using Canva. No design, editing, or customisation services are included unless explicitly stated.

License & Permitted Use

Memplates.Co offers two types of licenses depending on the nature of your purchase or subscription.

Personal License

Each once-off template purchase grants the customer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may edit and personalise the template for your own personal event or occasion, and download, print, or digitally share the finished design.

You may not resell or redistribute the template or template link, share, transfer, or sublicense the template to any third party, use the template for commercial purposes, client work, or resale, claim the design as your own original work, or extract or reuse individual design elements separately.

Business License

Active subscribers on a Memplates.Co subscription plan are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable business license for professional, commercial use within their own business operations.

You may edit and personalise templates for use in your professional services, use finished designs to create stationery and materials for your clients, and download, print, or digitally share finished designs on behalf of your clients.

You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the templates or template links to any third party, share subscription access with individuals outside of your business, repackage or resell templates as part of a separate product or service offering, claim the designs as your own original work, or extract or reuse individual design elements separately.

All template designs remain the intellectual property of Memplates.Co regardless of license type.

Subscription Services

Memplates.Co offers monthly subscription plans that provide ongoing access to our template library. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis from the date of sign-up. Access to templates is granted for the duration of the active subscription period. Multi-branch pricing is available for funeral homes with 3 or more branches — discounted rates are confirmed at the time of subscription setup. Memplates.Co reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice to subscribers. Subscribers may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds will be issued for unused days. Upon cancellation, access to subscription templates will be revoked. Memplates.Co reserves the right to add, remove, or modify templates available within the subscription library at any time.

Affiliate Programme

Memplates.Co operates an affiliate programme that allows participants to earn commission by referring new subscribers. By participating, you agree to the following:

Affiliates earn a commission of 20% of the monthly subscription fee for each active subscriber they refer. Commission is earned only for the duration that the referred subscriber remains an active paying subscriber. Commission payments are processed on a monthly basis. Memplates.Co reserves the right to modify commission rates, terms, or discontinue the affiliate programme at any time with reasonable notice. Affiliates may not engage in misleading, deceptive, or spammy promotional practices when representing Memplates.Co. Memplates.Co reserves the right to disqualify affiliates who violate these terms and withhold any outstanding commission.

Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final once access has been granted. Refunds are not provided for change of mind, accidental purchase, inability to use Canva, or user editing errors. If you experience technical difficulty accessing your purchase or receive an incorrect file, please contact us within 7 days and we will assist promptly. Full refund details are provided in our Refund Policy.

Canva Platform

Templates are designed for use within the Canva platform. Memplates.Co is not affiliated with Canva. We are not responsible for Canva service availability, Canva account access issues, Canva feature changes, or user editing errors within Canva.

Printing & Display

Final print or display results may vary depending on printer, paper, ink, screen calibration, and export settings. Memplates.Co is not responsible for print or display variations.

Intellectual Property

All content on memplates.co and all template designs are owned by or licensed to Memplates.Co and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content or templates beyond the license granted in these Terms.

Website Use

You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes, to infringe intellectual property rights, to distribute harmful or malicious content, or to interfere with website functionality.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memplates.Co shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use templates, Canva platform issues, printing outcomes, or digital download delivery.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated date.
